FORMER WINTERSET LUMBER MAN DIES

Carl Miltenberger, who formerly managed what is now the Hawkeye Lumber yard in Winterset, died Sunday at his home in Yarmouth. He was about 69 years of age.

Mr. Miltenberger operated the lumber yard here from about 1921 to 1926, and was quite active in community affairs while here. He has been in Yarmouth a number of years where he continued in the lumber business.

Surviving are his wife and a 20-year-old son, John Miltenberger.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at New London.
