JOHN B. WARD OF REDFIELD DIES JAN. 9

John B. Ward, a long-time resident of Redfield, died last Wednesday, Jan. 9 at the age of 74 years. He had suffered a stroke two years ago from which he never fully recovered.

Mr. Ward was the father of Mrs. Leon Lonnecker of Winterset, and his wife, to whom he was married in 1891, was the former Kathryn Armbrest of Winterset.

In addition to his wife, and the daughter in Winterset, he is survived by two sons, Carl of Des Moines and John of Redfield, and a daughter, Mrs. Dorice Harrison of Redfield.

Funeral services were held last Friday afternoon, with burial in the East Linn cemetery at Redfield.
