Graveside services for Pansie Blossom Ruth, 86, were held Thurs., March 26 at Winterset Cemetery with the Rev. David Bauer officiating. Mrs. Ruth died of lung cancer March 20 at the Presbyterian Nursing Center in Lakeland, Fla.
A Madison County resident from her birth until 1959, she was born August 4, 1905 to William Burd and Anna Naomi (James) Landis. She married William Hattel Ruth and was a homemaker. Her husband operated Ruth Drug Store until 1954.
She was preceded in death by her husband and three brothers.
Surviving are a son, William Joseph of North Lakeland, Fla.; a sister, June Crott of Des Moines; and two grandchildren.

Tuesday, March 24, 1992Pansie Blossom Ruth, 86, of Merritt Island died Sunday at Presbyterian Nursing Center in Lakeland.
A native of Madison County, Iowa, she came to Florida from Des Moines, Iowa, in 1959. She was a homemaker and Presbyterian.
She is survived by a son, Joe of Lakeland; a sister, June Croft of Des Moines; and two grandchildren. Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home, northside Lakeland.
