Lillian Vera Rush, born Oct. 12, 1910 in Snyder, Okla., died Jan. 26 in Roseburg at age 75. The Rush family moved to the Roseburg area from Portland, Ore., in 1951. She was a member of the North Roseburg Evangelical Free Church.
Survivors include her husband, Carl of Roseburg; three sons, Carl Rush Jr. of Portland, Donald Rush of Freemont, Calif., and Larry Rush of San Jose, Calif.; her mother, Nora B. Smith of Winterset; three brothers, James B. Smith of Earlham, Leonard Smith of Marshfield, Mo., and Lloyd Smith of Olathe, Kan.; two sisters, Lela Marsh of Riverside, Calif., and Merle Bruce of Albuquerque, N. M.; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was the daughter of Elijah Smith, who lived near Earlham in Madison township and died in 1960. Services were held at the Roseburg Memorial Gardens Thursday, Jan. 30.
