Long article: Word was brought to Coroner Hobson last Saturday forenoon that Mrs. Martino (commonly known as Martin) and elderly woman who lived in the southwestern part of town and supported herself and her aged husband by washing, had committed suicide during the absence of the rest of the family, who had gone to view the political parade. Dr. J. V. Nelson, after examining the body, found that death was caused by hanging. (etc.)

(Transcribers note: This article was taken from the newspaper abstracts done by Mary Ann Banks, I couldn't find the original article in the newspaper to finish the transcription. This is Julia Martino, she died Nov. 2, 1888.)

It is said that old Mrs. Martino, who committed suicide last November rests uneasily in the grave and that her ghost has been seen lingering about the places she formerly frequented. Her husband and daughter tell weird stories of her appearances to them at different times.
