MRS. MARY CALLISON DIES AT 78 YEARS

Funeral Services Held This Wednesday From Ord Church

Mrs. Mary E. Callison, prominent Lincoln township resident all her life, died at her home in the Ord community Sunday, Sept. 2 at the age of 78 years.

Mrs. Callison was the former Mary Emily Macumber, daughter of Andrew and Elizabeth Macumber. She was born Feb. 9, 1873 in Lincoln township. She united with the Christian Union church at Ord in early life, and was always active in its affairs. She also participated actively in school and other community affairs.

She was married March 15, 1905 to Emory V. Callison, whose death occurred in 1937.

She leaves three sons, Albert Callison at home, Lloyd and Wilbur Callison of Winterset; a daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Wallace of Corydon; seven grandchildren; and a brother, Elwood Macumber of Winterset.

Funeral services were held this Wednesday from the Ord church at 2:30 p.m. Burial was made in the Clark cemetery in Lincoln township.
