Lowell Eugene Sayers, 62, of Winterset, died of a heart attack Oct. 12, 1995, at Mercy Hospital Medical Center. A private memorial service was held Oct. 16 at Collins Funeral Home in Winterset.
He was born August 23, 1933, in Des Moines to Adelia (Schuldt) and Clifford Sayers. He married Anna Smith on May 1, 1965, in Des Moines. He was an automotive repairman and had resided in Madison county for the past 20 years. He served in the Navy during the Korean Conflict.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother and one sister.
Surviving relatives include his wife; and a sister Alice Adair of Des Moines.
