Dorothy LaVerne Scott, 71, of St. Charles died of a heart ailment February 1, 1994 at Des Moines General Hospital. The body was donated to the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences and no services are planned. Hamilton’s Funeral Home handled arrangements.
She was a homemaker born in Omaha and lived in the St. Charles area 13 years.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas; one daughter, Cynthia Carey of Urbandale; one son, Timothy of Round Rock, Texas; and four grandchildren.
