LORIMOR-Walter F. Ross, a life-long resident of Madison and Union counties, died Wednesday, April 22, at his home in Lorimor. He was 75 years of age. He had suffered a heart attack and death occurred as he was being taken to a physician.
Mr. Ross was born in Madison county June 29, 1877. On Sept. 24, 1900, he was married at West Star to Mary Ann McKibben. Her death occurred in 1952.
He is survived by two sons, Fred Ross of Lorimor and Floyd Ross of Winterset; and a daughter, Mrs. Ruth Henry of Des Moines.
Funeral services were held Saturday from the Lorimor Methodist church conducted by the Rev. Mr. Rowe. Burial was made in the Macksburg cemetery.

LORIMOR — Walter Ross, 75, of Lorimor died at 3 p. m. Wednesday at his home here of a heart attack. He had been in all health for some time.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Saturday at the Methodist church here with Rev. C. M. Rowe officiating. Burial will be in the Macksburg cemetery.
Surviving are two sons, Floyd of Winterset and Fred of Lorimor, and a daughter, Mrs. Ruth Henry of Des Moines. His wife preceded him in death about a year ago.
