Winterset, IowaHERMAN RADKE, SR., DIES AT MEMORIAL HOSPITAL
Van Meter--Herman Radke, Sr., prominent farmer of this community for many years, died last Thursday, July 19 at the Memorial hospital in Winterset. He had been admitted to the hospital the preceding Tuesday. He was 74 years of age.
Mr. Radke is survived by his wife; four sons, Carl and Paul Radke of Van Meter, Herman Radke of West Des Moines, and Martin Radke of Booneville; and a daughter, Selma at home.
Funeral services were held Sunday from Trinity Lutheran church in Jefferson township, in charge of the pastor, the Rev. Mr. Meyer. Burial was made in the church cemetery there.
