Harold “Dale” Slinker, 70, of Lee’s Summit, Mo., died May 9, 1995 at his home. Funeral services were May 12 at the Sheil Colonial Chapel in Raytown, Mo. Burial was at Mt. Washington Cemetery in Independence, Mo.
He was born Nov. 10, 1924 in Peru. He worked 45 years as a member of the Boilermakers Union, 7 years as an International Representative. He was a Mason and a member of the Orient Lodge No. 546 A.F. and A.M. in Kansas City, Mo.
Surviving relatives include his wife, Eileen M. Slinker; four sons, Rodney D. Slinker and wife Donna of Lee’s Summit, Mo., Scott E. Slinker and wife Stacey of Gravois Mills, Mo., James M. Slinker and wife Silvia of Germany, and Steven L. Slinker of Independence; one daughter, Lynn M. Hilton and husband Stephen of Burnsville, Minn.; his mother, Marie Beverline (Beverlin) and husband Corwin of Winterset; and 10 grandchildren.
