William T. Rogers, Earlham

Services for William T. Rogers, 75, Earlham, who died Monday, Sept. 21 of a heart ailment, were held Friday, Sept. 25 at the Fisher Funeral Home. Burial was in the DeSoto Cemetery.

Mr. Rogers was born in Missouri and lived in Earlham for 10 years. He previously lived much of his life in DeSoto. He was a retired forklift operator and mechanic for Firestone Tire and Rubber Co. in Des Moines and was a veteran of World War II.

Survivors include a son, Tom of Indianola; a foster son, Roger Russell of Earlham; sisters, Marie Rogers of St. Joseph, Mo., Helen Ennos of Mesquite, Texas, and Arlene Tuttle of California; a brother, Louie of California; and five grandchildren.

William T. (Bill) Rogers, 75, of Earlham, died Monday, September 21, 1987 of a heart attack north of Earlham.

He was born in Missouri and had lived in Earlham the past 10 years. He had resided in DeSoto for many years prior to that.

He had been a fork lift operator and mechanic for Firestone Tire and Rubber in Des Moines. He was a veteran of World War II.

He is survived by a son Tom of Indianola; foster son Roger Russell of Earlham; three sisters, Marie Rogers of St. Joseph, Missouri, Helen Ennos of Mesquite, Texas, and Arlene Tuttle of California; a brother Louie of California, five grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Friday, September 25, 1987 at Fisher Funeral Home, Adel, Iowa with burial at DeSoto Cemetery.
