DAVID S. OGDEN OF NEAR DESOTO DIES

Had Been Making Home With Daughter, Mrs. Virgil Winchester

David S. Ogden, a resident of Madison county for the last 10 years, died Monday, March 19, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Virgil Winchester of Madison township. He was 66 years of age.

Mr. Ogden was born at Wilbur, Nebr., in 1885. He was married in 1906 at Holdredge, Nebr., to Pearl Garrison, who survives. They were the parents of three children, Leonard Ogden of Wood River, Nebr., Mrs. Winchester of near DeSoto, and Mrs. Francis Johnson of Winterset. He also leaves a sister, Mrs. W. H. Mizell of Villisca and four grandchildren.

Funeral services were held here last Thursday from the Anderson home for funerals, in charge of the Rev. William Suckow of Van Meter. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
