Funeral services for Leo L. Sinn, 68, were held Thurs., Oct. 10, at St. Paul Lutheran Church. He died of cancer October 7, 1991, at his home.
A Patterson resident for 45 years, he was born in Madison County August 28, 1923 to Andrew F. and Blanche (Bruce) Sinn. He was a retired mechanic with Firestone Tire and Rubber Company, having been employed there 33 years. He was a member of the Des Moines Izaak Walton League, Rubber Workers Local Union, St. Paul's Lutheran Church and had formerly served on the Martensdale City Council.
Surviving are his wife, Norma (Miner) Sinn; two sons, Richard and John, both of Indianola; three daughters, Becky Stills of Indianola, Kathy Boyle of Severna Park, Md. and Jane Sinn of Fort Worth, Texas; two brothers, Merlyn of Martensdale and John of Minot, N.D.; three sisters, Bernice Keller of New Virginia, Lila Weddle of Ruidosa, N.M., and Donna Sinn of Des Moines; and seven grandchildren.
Burial was in Calvary Cemetery in Churchville.
