Funeral services for Blanche Opal Sinn of Truro were held Tuesday, Aug. 15, from St. Paul Lutheran church in Martensdale. Mrs. Sinn died Aug. 11, 1967, at Lutheran hospital in Des Moines. She was 68 years of age.
A daughter of Charles and Minnie Scrivner Bruce, she was born in Madison county, July 9, 1899.
She attended Des Moines schools, and on Dec. 2, 1915, she was married to Fred Sinn.
Mrs. Sinn was a school cook, and a member of A.L.C.W. and St. Paul Lutheran church.
Surviving are three sons and three daughters, Bernice Keller of New Virginia, Leo Sinn of Martensdale, Merlyn Sinn of Martensdale, John Sinn of Fort Peck, Montana, Lila Weddle of El Paso,Texas, and Donna Sinn of Martensdale.
She is also survived by one sister, Eleanor Weikert of Muscatine, Iowa, and by one brother, Eldon Bruce of Des Moines.
She was preceded in death by her husband, and a son, Charles.
Officiating at the service Tuesday afternoon was the Rev. Herman Brandt. Burial was in Fields cemetery.
