Harold Rinard, Burbank, Calif.

Military funeral services for Harold Rinard, 70, were held Wed., Oct. 16 at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills in Burbank. He died October 10 at Saint Joseph's Hospital, Los Angeles, Calif.

A former area resident, he was born January 27, 1921 to Bert and Lucy Rinard and attended DeSoto schools. He moved to Burbank in 1940 following graduation and married Joan Gignac on October 2, 1942 there. He retired from Lockhead Aircraft Corporation, was a U. S. Air Force pilot in World War II and was a retired major from the Air Force Reserve.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, a half-brother and a half-sister.

Surviving are his wife, a daughter, a son, a twin brother and five sisters, including Evelyn Bomar of Winterset and Bonnis Feldman of Van Meter.
