BERT RINARD DIES AT OSCEOLA

Bert Rinard, a life-long resident of Jefferson township died Tuesday, Feb. 4, at Osceola, after three years of failing health. He was 83 years of age.

Mr. Rinard was a son of Isaac and Elmira Rinard. He was born in Jefferson township and spent his entire life there. He was married Feb. 10, 1915, to Lucy Davidson. Their active years were spent in farming. She preceded him in death.

He is survived by nine children: Mrs. Evelyn Bomar of Earlham, Russell Rinard and Mrs. Mary Mintle of Des Moines, Harold Rinard of Burbank, Calif., Carold Rinard of Booneville, Mrs. Hilda Sandusky of Clear Lake, Mrs. Bonnie Feldman of Van Meter, Mrs. Peggy Cunningham of Portland, Ore., and Rosie Rinard of Osceola. He also leaves 22 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday from the First United Methodist church of Van Meter Methodist church of Van Meter in charge of the pastor, the Rev. C. G. Sparks. Burial was made in Fairview cemetery.
