Memorial services for Bessie Roby Riggle, a former longtime resident of Truro, were held at the Truro Methodist Church Oct. 4.
Mrs. Riggle died Sept. 7, 1981 in a nursing home in Excelsior Springs, Missouri, after a long illness. The body was cremated and the remains were buried in the Young Cemetery east of Truro.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews and one cousin.
