Word has reached here a few days ago of the death, at his home in Washington county, of Joseph M. Kilgore, formerly of Douglas township in this county, no particulars being given. He was formerly a son-in-law of J. C. Wilson of Douglas. His first wife, nee Alice Wilson, died some twenty-two years ago. Soon afterward he moved away. Mr. Kilgore was a soldier of the civil war, but we are not informed in what regiment he served.
