Ida Isadora, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Isaac Coffman, born March 15, 1877 in Boone County, Iowa, died on October 26th, aged 24 years, 7 months and 21 days of age.

She was united in marriage to Mr. Allison Chilcote on May 19, 1896. To them was born one daughter, Edna Belle. Ida leaves a father, mother, 2 sisters, 2 brothers, a husband and a daughter. (burial was at the Pleasantview Cemetery)

Ida Isadora, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Coffman, born March 5, 1877, in Boone county, Ia., died October 26, 1901, aged 24 years, 7 months and 21 days. She was united in marriage to Mr. Allison Chilcote, May 19, 1896. To them was born one daughter, Edna Belle. When but a girl she united with the Evangelical church, and her name still rests there. When on her bed affiction her request was that Rev. Knoll, pastor of the M. E. church, should come and visit her. He talked and prayed with her and she put her whole trust in God. She bore her sickness patiently until Jesus called her home. She leaves a father, mother, two sisters, two brothers, a husband and a daughter, and a host of friends and relatives to mourn their loss.

Her death leaves a vacant place in the family circle, also in the community, that cannot be filled. The funeral services were held Sunday at Pleasant View church, conducted by Rev. Knoll, assisted by Rev. Springer, and the remains were laid to rest in the Pleasant View cemetery.

Mrs. Al Chilcote of Webster township died last Saturday, a victim to that much dreaded disease, consumption. Funeral services were held Sunday conducted by Rev. Springer and the remains entered in the Pleasant View Cemetery.
