Bruce Rogan, the son of John and Josephine Rogan was born in Dallas county June 9, 1891 and passed away at the Dexter hospital Sunday morning, July 2, 1950.

His early youth was spent in Dallas county, and then removed with his parents to Nebraska. They resided there for a period of time then moving to Arkansas, where they lived until failing health on the part of the mother, caused them to return to Iowa, locating in the west part of Earlham, here they resided until the passing of the mother. Bruce lived for a time with various people, but in 1929 he came to make his home with Hattie Hodson, which continued to be his home until the time of his passing.

He leaves to mourn his passing a few distant relatives and a number of friends. Bruce was of a quiet disposition, and went about his tasks with a willingness of heart. Bruce and his little wagon, were a familiar scene about our streets. He was not of robust physique, but did a man's job at any task he undertook. He had a friendly greeting for all, and will be missed from our community.
