Mrs. Nancy Wood, widow of Abraham Wood, late of South Township, died at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Moore, three miles northwest of St. Charles, on April 19, 1895. Her age was eighty-one years.

She had been helpless for some two years past, and her death was not the result of any disease, but apparently just the wearing out of a long, active and useful life. She leaves to survive her, three married daughters and a number of grandchildren.

Her remains were laid to rest on last Sunday, by the side of those of her husband in the cemetery at the Union Chapel in South township.

Hanley

Mrs. Woods died April 19 and was buried at Union chapel Sunday. She was quite an old settler of South township, and has been very feeble in body and mind for a number of years.
