Rickets Services Held Thursday

Funeral services for Mrs. Lucille Altheir Rickets, 90, of Winterset were held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, April 26, at Collins Funeral Home with Rev. Dan Witcher officiating. Burial was in the Barney Cemetery. Mrs. Rickets died Tuesday, April 24 at the Madison County Memorial Hospital.

The daughter of H. W. and Ellen Palmer Gilbert, she was born on July 10, 1888 in Madison County. She was married to John Rickets in 1916 at Winterset. A lifetime resident of Winterset, Mrs. Rickets was a member of several church organizations.

Surviving are a brother, Charles Gilbert of Winterset,and three sisters, Grace Woods of Oscola, Verdia Harper of Lorimor and Sadie Nichols of Winterset.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John, her parents, a brother and two sisters.
