Services For Emmiel Reimann

Funeral services were conducted Saturday, January 21, 1t 1:30 p.m. from Collins Funeral Home for Emmiel E. Reimann, 91, who died at Memorial Hospital Wednesday, Jan. 18, 1977. He was born March 1, 1886 in Jefferson township of Madison County.

The son of Karl Julius and Anna E.Scholz Reimann, he was married to Nora Elizabeth Dooley on November 14, 1914, at St. Patrick's Settlement, Cummings, Iowa. She preceded her husband in death in April of 1937.

Mr. Reimann was a retired farmer, a lifetime resident of this county. He was affiliated with the UB Methodist congregation.

Survivors include a son, Jimmie W. Reimann of Booneville, two daughters, Hazel Marie Reimann of Des Moines and Helen Marguerite Burkland of Ogilvie, Minn., and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nora, his parents, five brothers, one sister and a daughter, Edna Lint.

Officiating at Saturday's funeral was Rev. Scott Grotewold of Winterset First United Methodist. Burial was made at the UB Jefferson Cemetery in Madison County.
