Melvin Decker died June 3rd, at 11 a. m. at the City hospital in Des Moines.
He was 53 years of age at the time of his death. He leaves to mourn his death, Anthony Decker, of Fort Cob, Oklahoma and James A. Decker, of Peru; one sister, Sarah Porter, of Lorimor, and several other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 4th, at the Methodist church at Peru. Burial was made in the Peru cemetery.
Mr. Decker was born in Knox county, Missouri, in 1876.
