Services for Edwin W. Raymond, 85, Winterset, who died April 1 at the Winterset Care Center North, were held at the Collins Funeral Home on April 4 with the Rev. Clarence Lautt officiating. Burial was at the Laurel Hill Cemetery in Des Moines.

Born in Des Moines on June 8, 1902, he was the son of Clifford and Ella Swan Raymond. He was a retired salesman with Leachman Lumber Co. in Des Moines.

Mr. Raymond was married to Nellie Woolry on Dec. 26, 1922. She died in 1974. He was married to Vivian Swan in November 1981. She died in 1983.

Mr. Raymond lived in Winterset the past seven years and was a member of the Methodist church.

There are no immediate survivors. He was also preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister.
