Earlham Echoes

Elizabeth Wilson, widow of Seth Wilson, deceased, died on Friday, the 21st, at her son-in-law’s, Josiah Stanley, in Dallas county. She was the mother of Milton Wilson and several daughters, one of whom lives in Colorado, another in Joliet, Ill., and Mrs. Stanley in Dallas county. Mrs. Wilson was nearly 90 years of age, born, we believe, in the Carolinas and moved from there to Ohio, thence to Indiana, and from there to Madison county about forty years ago and settled on a farm southeast of town, where her husband died some years since. The funeral was held on Sunday at the Friends meeting house, which could not hold the people that attended, many having to stay outside. Thus another old settler has gone to meet those who went before.
