ANDREW A. ROGERS OF WINTERSET DIES

Andrew A. Rogers, a long-time resident of the Winterset area, died Monday, Dec. 17, at a nursing home in Glenwood. He was 86 years of age.

Mr. Rogers was born in Madison county March 14, 1876, a son of William and Margaret Yokley Rogers. He was married to Mary Eyerly, who preceded him in death. His active years were spent in farming, but he had been retired in recent years.

He is survived by a step-daughter, Mrs. W. A. Busch, and a sister, Mrs. Jess Crawford, both of this community.

Funeral services were held this Wednesday from the Oak Grove church, in charge of the pastor, the Rev. Charles Bellus. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
