PAUL E. PORTER DIES AT PERRY

Funeral Services Held Monday At Winterset With Burial At Macksburg

Paul E. Porter of Adel, a resident of Dallas and Madison counties most of his life, died Thursday, Aug. 31, at a nursing home in Perry. He was 58 years of age.

Mr. Porter was born in Madison county March 11, 1909, a son of Henry L. and Minnie Beebe Porter. His life was spent in farming.

Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Minnie Porter of Winterset; and two sisters, Mrs. Earl Thomas and Berniece Porter, both of Winterset.

Funeral services were held Monday from the Wilson Funeral home conducted by the Wilson Funeral home conducted by the Rev. William Bowles, pastor of the First Christian Church of Winterset. Burial was held in Moon cemetery at Macksburg.
