Mrs. C. W. Wright

From the Santa Cruz, Calif., daily is gained information regarding the death of Mrs. Chas, Wright, who last spring with her husband and year old baby, left Madison County for Santa Cruz. They were living in a flat above the one occupied by Mr. Wright's mother, Mrs. E. E. Wright. A niece, Mona Wright, entered the room Monday of last week, found the dead body upon the floor and ran to call her mother. A physician was called, but no return of life could be gained, apoplexy had caused her death.

Mr. Wright, who was absent at Selma, a nearby town, was called by telegram and arrived on Tuesday, made preparations for the return of the body. They left Thursday evening, and arrived here yesterday.

The funeral services were held at one o'clock today from the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Jessup in Scott township, and burial was made at the Baptist cemetery in Union township.

Coordinator's note: Maiden name taken from gravestone.
