EDGAR E. POMEROY DIES AT 95 YEARS

Edgar E. Pomeroy of St.Charles died at an Indianola nursing home Sunday, Jan. 5. He was 95 years of age.

Mr. Pomeroy was a life-time resident of the St. Charles community, where he engaged in farming and worked as a carpenter during his active years.

He was a son of Neal and Sarah Collins Pomeroy, and was born at St. Charles Jan. 7, 1873. He was married Jan. 17, 1894. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the St. Charles Lions club.

Surviving are a daughter Mrs. Marjorie Allen of San Juan, Calif.; three grandchildren; thhree great grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Daisy Hill of Long Beach, Calif.

Funeral services were held Jan. 7 from the St. Charles Methodist church, conducted by the Rev. James Louk. Burial was made in the St.Charles cemetery.
