Carl Poindexter, Lakewood, Colo.

Carl Poindexter, Lakewood, Colo., died April 22. He was born Nov. 20, 1926 in Winterset. He attended the Winterset schools and was the son of Ray and Marie Poindexter. Carl entered the U.S. Navy and served during World War II. Following his return from the service he started a business in wholesale plumbing in Denver and worked at that until his death.

Surviving him is his wife, Barbara; his son, Dan of Lakewood; his daughter, Barbara Ebert of Westmoreland, Kan.; and eight grandchildren. His parents, and brothers, Gale and Curtis preceded him in death.

Interment was at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Colorado.
