MRS. E. H. LOWE DIES AT 87 YEARS OF AGE

Mrs. E. H. Lowe of Winterset died Tuesday, Sept. 11, at a Winterset nuring home. She was 87 years of age.

Mrs. Lowe had been a resident of Madison county since 1912. She was the former Mary Elizabeth Lutes, daughter of Jacob and Sarah Lutes, and was born Aug. 7, 1869, at Urbana. She came to Madison county from Sioux City.

She was married to Henry Ribble on Sept. 27, 1885. Her second marriage, in 1919, was to John E. Davis, who preceded her in death. Later she was married to E. H. Lowe of Winterset, who also preceded her in death.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Emma Hildebrand of Winterset.

Funeral services were held from the Richards Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. Warren Hile, pastor of the Winterset Christian church. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
