MICHAEL MEALY IS FOUND DEAD

Michael H. Mealy, a resident of Winterset less than a year, was found dead in bed at his room at the Delia Lavalleur residence last Thursday, victim of a heart attack.

Mealy was 50 years of age, and was employed as a cook at the Aldo cafe. He had retired at 11:10 p.m. Wednesday, and was found dead in his room at 1:30 p.m. Thursday.

Coroner Paul Eggleston was called, and after investigation reported Mealy's death resulted from natural causes, and no inquest would be held.

The body was sent to Mealy's sister, Mrs. Max R. Schmidt, at Elma, Ia., for funeral services and burial.
