Henry William Trustee, son of Louise and Zachariah Trustee, was born in Oklahoma, where he grew up with his parents, two sisters, and one brother.

He had scarcely reached manhood when he enlisted in the United States Army. He served in the Spanish-American War, and again in World War I. He was one of the first to enlist, and served during the entire war.

He was a member of the heroic 4th Division, and served through many battles without serious injury.

Henry found adventure, and during his younger life had been in almost every country in the world, as well as his own United States, where there were few spots which he was not familiar with.

When he was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army, he came to Iowa to live. Here he met and married Mary Prohaska on March 18, 1922.

To this union were born three children, Carrie, now Mrs. Carrie Seal of Pueblo, Colorado, Irvin Henry and Nora Aletha, who both died in infancy.

He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, and took an active part in the American Legion.

In 1943, he, with Mrs. Trustee, went to live at the Iowa Soldier's Home, Marshalltown, Iowa, where his health rapidly failed him during the last year. He passed away at the Home on February 20, 1950 at the age of 65 years, 11 months, and 26 days. He would have been 66 today.

He leaves to mourn his loss his wife, Mary, and daughter, Mrs. Carrie Seal, one brother, Lewis of Victor, Colorado, one grandchild, Sandra Seal, and many friends and relatives.
