NANNIE E. PRICE DIES AT 94 YEARS

Nannie E. Price, a native of Madison county and a well known teacher in the rural schools of this county for many years, died Thursday, May 17, at Los Angeles, Calif., according to information received here this week. Her death occurred at the W.C.T.U. home in Los Angeles. She was 94 years of age.

Miss Price was born near Winterset on Sept. 18, 1862, a daughter of Caleb and Barbara Price. She taught rural school in Madison county and at one time was employed in the Girls Training school at Mitchellville, and later taught school in Nebraska.

Since moving to California, she had taught in the Friend's Training school in Huntington Park for five years, and in the Oriental Missionary school in Los Angeles. She had been a resident of the W.C.T.U. home since 1937.

Miss Price was the last surviving member of her family. She was the oldest sister of the late L. V. Price of Winterset.

Funeral services were held from the Chapel of Chimes in Memorial Park cemetery at Inglewood, Calif., and burial was made in the cemetery there.
