FRANK R. PETERS DIES SUDDENLY

Fatally Stricken by Heart Attack While Enroute To Peru

Frank R. Peters, long-time resident of the Peru community died of a heart attack last Thursday morning. He had left home to drive into Peru in his truck but was stricken enroute. His body was found near the parked truck by a Mr. Harrison who was coming to the Peters farm to help with some work.

Mr. Peters was 60 years of age and had lived in Madison county since infancy. He was born Aug. 29, 1898 near College Springs, a son of John W. and Sarah Bundy Peters. He was a life-long farmer and was a member of the Methodist church and the Veterans of Foreign Wars post at St.Charles.

He was married at St. Charles March 15, 1924 to Anna Pearl Jones, who survives him. He also leaves a son, Ivan Peters; a daughter, Mrs. Helen Stephenson; five grandchildren; and a sister Alice Peters of St. Joseph, Mo.

Funeral services were hgeld Saturday from the Peru Methodist church conducted by the pastor, the Rev. Ray Harnesa. Burial was made in Ebenezer cemetery.
