MACKSBURG SERVICES FOR ALFRED HARPOLE

Alfred Harpole, a native of Madison county, died this Tuesday, April 17, in Glenwood, Iowa. He was 44 years of age.

Funeral services will be held this Friday at 2 p.m. from the Macksburg Methodist church. Burial will be made in Moon cemetery at Macksburg.

ALFRED A. HARPOLE RITES HELD FRIDAY

Alfred A. Harpole, formerly of the Macksubrg community, died Tuesday, April 17, at Glenwood. He was 44 years of age.

Mr. Harpole was a son of Alfred and Flora Welty Harpole. He was born Sept. 4, 1911, in Webster township, moving to Macksburg with his parents in 1918.

Surviving are two brothers, Arch Harpole of Des Moines and Ray Harpole of Birmingham, Ala. and two sisters, Mrs. Jana Jessup of Butler, Mo., and Mrs. Velma Thomas of Macksburg.

Funeral services were held last Friday from the Macksburg Methodist church, conducted by the pastor, the Rev. C. M. Rowe. Burial was made in Moon cemetery at Macksburg.
