Freda M. Van Der Kamp, 79, formerly of Prairie City, died Tuesday, August 26, 2003 at Pella Regional Health Center. Funeral services will be 1:30 pm. Thursday, August 28 at First Reformed Church in Prairie City, with burial in Waveland Cemetery. Visitation for Mrs. Van Der Kamp will be after 2 p.m. Wednesday at Walters Coburn Funeral Home in Prairie City. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be given to the Prairie City Ambulance Fund or Hospice of Pella.

Freda is survived by five sons, Alan and Carl of Prairie City. Jerry of Truro, Caryl of Monroe and Duane of Florida; a daughter, Joyce Kain Near of Urbandale; 14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
