Tom L. Cooper, Jr., 77, died Monday, October 6, 2003 in Arizona in route to his winter home. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, October 11 at Wesley United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Nalda L. Cooper of Des Moines; daughters, Alaina Chynoweth of Denver, CO, and Anna B. Kinsella of Boone; sons, Thomas O. Cooper of Des Moines and Aaron L Cooper of El Paso, TX; stepdaughters, Tesa E. Heldenbrand of Winterset, Lesa Velth of Des Moines, Julia Grows of Des Moines and Brenda German of Minburn; stepson, Robert W. Snyder II of Des Moines; brothers, Kenneth and Harold Cooper, both of Des Moines; sisters, Marjorie Wiley and Peggy Cooper, both of Des Moines and Iris Whitson of Lincoln, NE; 16 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
