William “Bill” H. Brant, 38 of Osceola died of a heart attack Jan. 10, 2003, at Clarke County Hospital in Osceola.
Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 13, at Kale Funeral Home in Osceola with Pastor Marty Burgus and Dr. Byron Lamun officiating. Burial was at Maple Hill Cemetery, Osceola.
Bill Brant was born Feb. 25, 1964, in Osceola to Dean and Twila (Terry) Brant. He graduated from Interstate 35 High School (Truro) in 1982. On Sept. 13, 1986, he married Tawny Whitehead in Osceola. Bill owned and operated Brant Stables of Osceola. A resident of Osceola for the past 14 years, he had previously resided in Truro. He was a member of the American Quarter Horse Association, American Buckskin Registry Association and the United Church of Christ in Truro.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers.
He is survived by his wife, Tawny, of Osceola; a daughter, Cheyenne Brant of Osceola; two sons, William Brant and Chisolm Brant, both of Osceola; his parents, Dean and Twila Brant of Creston; a brother, Terry Brant of Truro; two sisters, Sherri Long of Des Moines and Tami Adamson of Creston; and grandmothers, Bernice Brant of Urbandale and Eunice Terry of Creston.
