R. L. SNYDER Of Truro Dies

Raymond L. Snyder of Truro, a retired employee of the Register and Tribune in Des Moines, died Monday, April 30th, 1973, at Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines. He was 70 years of age.

Mr. Snyder was a native of Bridgewater, where he was born Oct. 13, 1902, a son of Alfred and Cora Chaney Snyder. He was married at Atlantic on Jan. 21, 1926, to Lela Parker, who survives him. He lived in Des Moines for 22 years before moving to Truro.

He was a member of the Methodist Church.

In addition to his wife, he leaves a son, Robert Snyder of Truro; a daughter, Mrs. Robert Lents of Bridgewater; six grandchildren; one great grandchild; and a sister, Mrs. Jessie Brawdy of Sherwood, Ore.

Funeral services were held Thursday from the Kale Funeral Home in Truro, conducted by the Rev. Richard Hempenius. Burial was made in the Fields Cemetery in Clarke County.
