GEORGE R. PARROTT DIES AT JEFFERSON

George R. Parrott, a resident of the Lorimor community practically all his life, died Tuesday, Oct. 15 at his home in Jefferson. He was 66 years of age.

Mr. Parrott was born on a farm west of Lorimor on Sept. 26, 1897. His life was spent in the Lorimor community until August of this year, when he moved to Jefferson. He was an employee of Union county for l7 years.

He was married Nov. 25, 1925, to Naomi P. Foster, who survives him. He also leaves a daughter, Mrs. Kenneth Fry of Creston; three grandchildren; his mother, Mrs. Rosa Parrott; and a sister, Mrs. Ruby Green.

Funeral services were held Friday from the Lorimor Methodist church, with the Rev. Tom Harlan and the Rev. Bernard Reece officiating. Burial was made in the Peru cemetery.
