MRS. CORA ORR OF WINTERSET DIES

Desth Occurred Here This Monday at Age of 85 Years

Mrs. Cora L. Orr of Winterset died Monday, Sept. 24, at Memorial hospital. She was 85 years of age.

Mrs. Orr was the widow of the late Frank G. Orr, whose death occurred in 1950 at South St. Paul, Minn.

She was born in Madison county Oct. 3, 1876, and most of her life was spent in this community. She was the daughter of Nathaniel and Mary K. Collier Foster. She was married to Frank Orr on Feb. 12, 1896.

Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Ada Boling of Des Moines and Mrs. Alice Robinson of Winterset, and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Florence Creger of Winterset. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, six brothers, and seven sisters.

Funeral services were to be held this Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Collins funeral home, in charge of the Rev. John E. Fink, pastor of the First United Presbyterian church of Winterset. Burial was to be made in the Winterset cemetery.
