Kenneth Olsen, Winterset

Kenneth Olsen, 93, died of a heart ailment Aug. 17, 2003 at West Bridge Care & Rehabilitation in Winterset.

Memorial graveside services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 21, at Winterset Cemetery with Pastor Terry Kerr officiating.

Kenneth Olsen was born Sept. 19, 1909 to Perry and Laura (Peterson) Olsen of Booneville. On April 20, 1935 he married Doris P. Mahan in Osceola. A lifetime resident of Madison County, Kenneth farmed until age 82.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; and three sisters.

He is survived by three sisters-in-law, Eldora Parker, Vivian Orr and Jean Lehman, all of Winterset; two brothers-in-law, Charles Allen and Robert Allen, both of Winterset; and numerous nieces and nephews.
