1965Former St. Charles Resident Is Dead
Ira Nicoson, formerly of St. Charles, died Saturday, March 27, at a hospital in Lodi, Calif., according to word received by his sisters, Mrs. Lou McCleeary and Mrs. Jessie Schoonover of St.Charles.
Mr. Nicoson was 78 years of age. He was born in Madison county and lived in or near St. Charles and Hanley until about 40 years ago. He had lived in California for 30 years. HIs wife, the former Elsie Carpenter, died 12 years ago.
Funeral services were held from the Lodi Funeral home last Wednesday, with burial in the Lodi cemetery.
