Elma Nickel, Lyons, Kan.

Graveside services for Elma Nickel, who died in Lyons, Kan., Feb. 25 was held Feb. 28 with the Rev. Helen Farr conducting the services. Burial was at the Earlham Cemetery.

Born Feb. 26, 1900, she was the daughter of Chalmer O. and Ora C. Clements.

She graduated from the Earlham Academy and from a business college in Des Moines. She was married to Russell Duff. He died July 5, 1943. She was married to Arthur Nickel and they operated a truck line between Lyons and Kansas City, and after his death, she continued with the business until she retired.

She is survived by a sister, Lora L. Hays of Winterset.

Mrs. Nickel was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and six sisters.
