Pearl E. Myers, 88, of Winterset died Thursday of complications following surgery at Des Moines General Hospital. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church in Winterset, of which he was a member. Burial will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Murray Cemetery in Murray.

Mr. Myers was born in Murray and moved to Winterset in 1968. He was a retired farmer and carpenter.

Surviving are his wife, Verna; a daughter, Beverly Wetzel of Indianola; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from noon to 8 p.m. today at Collins Funeral Home in Winterset, where the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m.
