WILL C. NEWLON DIES

Will C. Newlon, former Madison county resident, died at his home in Visalia, Calif., Thursday, March 26, at the age of 70 years. He had retired from business several years ago, because of poor health, but his final illness was of short duration and a heart attack caused his death.

He was born in Madison county, the youngest son of W. C. and Lydia Newlon, and here grew to manhood. He has resided in California the past 35 years.

He is survived by his wife, another brother, and three sisters; George Newlon of San Francisco, Mrs. Mary Green of Los Angeles, who is now in San Francisco, assisting with the care of her brother, who is ill, and Mrs. Carrie Shambaugh and Mrs. Lida Wilkinson of Winterset.

Funeral and burial services for Mr. Newlon were held at Visalia, Saturday, March 28.
