Died at his residence, January 30, at 6 o’clock a.m., Wm. I. Coltrane. Mr. Coltrane has been a resident of the town but a short time, yet was respected and beloved by all. He leaves a wife, four daughters, one son and a host of friends to mourn his loss.
His body was shipped to New Virginia Thursday, where interment was made, Rev. Flesher officiating at the church and the Masons performing the last rite at the grave. A large number of neighbors, friends and relatives accompanied the remains to the final resting place.

Page 8, Column 2Died, Wednesday morning about six o’clock at his home in Truro, Isaac Coltrain aged 57 years. The body was taken to New Virginia for burial.
